If until a few days ago we enjoyed a warm and beautiful autumn, starting from November, the cold entered its rights, which means that our center of interest has moved to the internal spaces. What can we do to transform them into hottest places and alone and figuratively? Here are some simple ideas and suggestions, from which we can inspire.

As thermal values decrease and the weather conditions are becoming increasingly hostile, we feel the need to make some changes in the furniture of the house, intended to increase the «temperature» of the interior. No, it is not just about starting the boiler or fireplace, but also of other small interventions, thanks to which we will perceive the space in which we live as a nest … welcoming, welcoming and comfortable. The colors that transmit the feeling of hot, the natural materials with a pleasant consistency and delicate lighting are only a part of the decorative elements that we can call to obtain the «refuge» perfect for us and our loved ones.

At the end of each day, after spending hours in the office, in front of the computer, or after we crossed the city, through the cold and rain, to solve all types of problems, we can’t wait to go home, where we know that a warm, pleasant and relaxing place awaits us. To obtain a similar atmosphere, which gives us a positive tone, regardless of how bad and cold, we must make room in the internal decoration of the hottest colors in the chromatic circle – cream, beige, brown, sand, bricks – orange – to be used in the desired shades and tones.

A new hand of paint applied to the walls can radically change the air at home and therefore can induce a good mood. Following such an intervention, which can be done on a day or two on the weekend, even the coldest and most internal interiors will become warmer and more welcoming.

If we do not have time for a quick renovation or simply we will not be willing to give up our home, there is a much simpler solution that we can consider: add accessories and decorations for the environment in warm colors. For example, a plea and some cushions in a solar chromatic, in addition to some other assorted decorations, will bring us the summer air and remove the monotony.

The wooden braids and plants are the main materials on which we should rely when we intend to transform our home into a warm and intimate «refuge». In addition to connecting with nature, they add to the space in which we live an extra warm and beauty. Therefore, unlike artificial materials, which can release toxic vapors in the house of the house, the natural ones provide a «clean» and healthy environment.

The wood produces «good home» with any furniture, regardless of its style, therefore falls wonderfully not only in the classic or rustic provisions, but also in modernist ones (minimalist, industrial, boho chic, etc.). We can use it on large surfaces – in carpentry, floor, walls and furniture – as well as an accent, at the level of accessories and decorations. Although it is an expensive material, huge wood fully deserves the investment, due to the extraordinary advantages it offers: authenticity, uniqueness, feeling of warmth and naturalness, liver and, last but not least, a superior quality conferred on the disposition.

For example, a lunch set composed of mass and chairs, a stool and some decorations (photographic frames such as decorative mirrors, paintings) of gross wood will have a surprising effect on the space in which they are located, transferring the very desired heat.

The same result can be obtained with the help of objects made by the braids of plants.
Some furniture made of rattan, water smile, wicker, haste, nies or other wooden materials of nature, located in the rooms or areas that we want to «heat», will fully satisfy their mission.
If we do not have enough space or the budget necessary to invest in a vegetable braid furniture, we can summarize some accessories, such as baskets, trays and poufs, which we can successfully use in any room where we want to obtain a welcoming decoration.

Like us, our homes also need more «wardrobes», than «dressing» correctly, depending on the season. If, in the warm months, in the foreground there were curtains full of steam and the satin or silk linen, with the installation of the cold, the «clothes» of winter arrived on the stage, made up of thick fabrics, flap made of flannel, wool, velvet and braids.

An important step that we can take to create a more intimate atmosphere at home is to replace the thin and diaphon curtains, with the thicker ones. If we do not want to give up them, then we can accessories with seasonal curtains, made of cotton or velvet, for example.

According to the window area, the next in the list that must move to the autumn winter «wardrobe» is the relaxation area, more precisely the sofa. Since we spend more time here when we stay at home, it is clear that its new «clothes» must be not only hot, but also comfortable. A custody made of a natural textile material, which will keep us away from the freshness of the sofa leather finish, some cushions as well as the existing ones, in color and with prints with curtains and a soft blanket are sufficient to remove the cold sensation.

And since the thermal discomfort feels more at the foot, now it is the most appropriate time to place a myth carpet in front of the sofa, a wool carpet or even an artificial fur.

For the office area or for the reading angle arranged near the window, we can get a knitted plea, with an attractive color, which will challenge us to nest and also print the internal heat, joy and style.

Last but not least, we move to the bedroom, where, for the next 3-4 months, we need bed linen in flannel, goose flakes and soft covered, destined to give us all the comfort while we rest.

As we know, a house without accessories and decorations is empty, cold, impersonal. Even if we consider them the details, these objects have the power to change the appearance and «temperature» of a space.

Let’s take the example of the appliances, which become vital in the autumn-winter season, when the days are shorter than the nights and the time is often postponed. Without chandeliers, ceilings and lamps, we could not carry out our home or office activities in optimal conditions. However, in addition to their practically important role, to compensate insufficient natural light or to replace it in the night, the appliances also have a significant decorative role, in the sense that it helps us to add to the interiors in which we live an extra heat and intimacy. To create a welcoming atmosphere, it is essential to use a hot light and avoid cold. The hot light is delicate and relaxing for the eyes, which represents the right solution both for the bedroom and for the living room when we want to outline an intimate and comfortable frame.

In addition, after leaving the darkness, we can place in key points of the lanterns or on the bright candles, which will transform our house into a kingdom of the fairies.

Next to the cold and expensive sun in sight and viruses, the cold season comes with some good things. One of these is that, every evening, we can enjoy the Molcomm heat of the fire in the fireplace. The wood of the wood, the light widespread by the playful flames, the natural comfort we hear and the company of the loved ones are the best remedy after a hard day of work.

It is true that living in the block does not allow us to build a real fireplace, with a wooden operation. Instead, it gives us the opportunity to install an electric or biogas model. Even a false fireplace, in the outbreak of light candles or lanterns, can be a good solution, it is worth considering, when we do not have the necessary resources to have a classic fireplace.

And the way the objects are positioned in the house can contribute to the creation of a welcoming space. Therefore, if counting among the lucky owners of a generous living room, we can do the following experiment, i.e. to remove the sofa and walls of the wall and bring them closer to the center of the room. If we have a fireplace, the better it is! We can place the furniture around. At the end of this super-suited approach, we will discover that, restoring the furniture, we will get a more intimate environment.
